Our Team

At VDC, we believe great dance teachers do more than teach great technique. Our team is passionate about creating a safe, encouraging and positive environment where every dancer feels supported, valued and confident to learn.

Our team brings together experience and qualifications across dance, acrobatics, early childhood education and teaching. Many of our teachers hold recognised dance teaching qualifications or are currently working towards their dance teaching qualifications.

We also have team members with qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Master of Teaching, bringing valuable knowledge of child development, learning and education into the studio.

All VDC staff hold a current Working with Vulnerable People registration and complete safeguarding and child protection training. Child safety is something we take seriously and continue to revisit through ongoing staff training, policies and professional development.

Our teachers regularly undertake training to continue developing their skills and knowledge. For staff involved in our acrobatics program, this includes regular acro spotting training and refreshers to ensure safe and appropriate progressions remain at the forefront of our teaching.

Across our team, we have teachers trained through Acrobatic Arts, as well as staff who hold Gymnastics Australia accreditation, bringing a range of knowledge and experience to our acrobatics program.
